2019–20 Liga IV Hunedoara
The 2019–20 Liga IV Hunedoara was the 52nd season of the Liga IV Hunedoara, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 17 August 2019 and was scheduled to end in June 2020, but was suspended in March because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania. The season was ended officially on 14 July 2020 after AJF Hunedoara (County Football Association) concluding that the teams could not meet the medical conditions for matches at this level. Jiul Petroșani was crowned as county champion. Competition format The 12 teams will play a regular season, followed by a play-off and play-out. The regular season is a double round-robin tournament. At the end of the regular season, the first six teams will play a championship play-off and the last five teams will play a relegation play-out. Liga IV Hunedoara is the county association football, football division of Liga IV for clubs based in Hunedoara County, România. The competition is ranked as the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system and it is competed between 11 teams, the winner may or may not be promoted to Liga III, depending on the result of a promotion play-off that is disputed against a winner of the neighboring counties series. History In 1968, along with the territorial reorganization of the country, but also due to the large number of requests, the Romanian Football Federation proposes a competitive system in which each county has its own football championship, which will activate the former teams in the regional championship as well as the racing and town championship teams from the previous edition. Timiș () is a county ('' județ'') of western Romania on the border with Hungary and Serbia, in the historical region of Banat, with the county seat at Timișoara. The 2019–20 Liga IV Timiș was the 52nd season of the Liga IV Timiș, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 10 August 2019 and was scheduled to end in June 2020, but was suspended in March because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania. The 2019–20 Liga IV Mehedinți was the 52nd season of the Liga IV Mehedinți, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 31 August 2019 and was scheduled to end in June 2020, but was suspended in March because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania. The season was concluded officially on 23 July 2020 when AJF Mehedinți decided to freeze the championship and declare the team ranked first, Recolta Dănceu, county champion. Because Recolta Dănceu does not have C.I.S.(Certificate of sports identity) issued by the Ministry of Youth and Sports required to play in Liga III, Strehaia was designated as the representative of Mehedinți County at the promotion play-off. Liga V
Liga V is the fifth level of the Romanian football league system. Current format Liga V has 42 divisions. The divisions are regionalised and are organised by every county association. Each team plays in their own county. The county associations decide how many teams play in the league and how many matches each side plays. In Romania the most frequently used system is one division with matches played home and away. A number of associations prefer 2 or even 3 parallel divisions. 2019–20 Liga IV
The 2019–20 Liga IV was the 78th season of the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The champions of each county association play against one from a neighboring county in a playoff to gain promotion. This had to be the third season when the counties were divided into 7 regions, each consisting of 6 counties and the draw was made on 15 February 2019, with 4 months before the first matches. In the spring of 2020, most of the county leagues were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 11 May 2020, the Romanian Football Federation announced that the promotion format will be changed, especially due to the fact that no team (apart from the teams that were already excluded or dissolved) relegated from Liga III. CSM Dacia Orăștie
Club Sportiv Municipal Dacia Orăștie 2010, commonly known as Dacia Orăștie, is a Romanian football club based in Orăștie, Hunedoara County and currently playing in the Liga IV – Hunedoara County, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. Dacia Orăștie played seven seasons in Second Division and fifteen seasons in Third Division. History The club was founded in 1935 under the name of Energia Orăștie by the workers of the city's chemical factory and played in the Hunedoara Regional Championships. Renamed as Flacăra Orăștie, the club promoted in Divizia C winning the 1955 Hunedoara Regional Championship.
