2019–20 Indiana Pacers Season
The 2019–20 Indiana Pacers season was the franchise's 53rd season and the 44th season in the NBA. The season was suspended by the league officials following the games of March 11 after it was reported that Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19. The season for the Pacers and 21 other playoff-contending teams resumed in the 2020 NBA Bubble on July 30, with Indiana finishing the season in the bubble with a 45–28 record and the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. The Pacers were defeated in four games by the eventual Eastern Conference champion Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs. For the third time in four years the Pacers were swept in the playoffs, and the loss marked their fifth consecutive defeat in the first round. Nate McMillan
Nathaniel McMillan (born August 3, 1964) is an American basketball coach and former player who serves as head coach of the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He coached the Seattle SuperSonics from 2000 to 2005, the Portland Trail Blazers from 2005 to 2012, and the Indiana Pacers from 2016 to 2020. He spent his entire 12-year NBA playing career with the SuperSonics, then served as an assistant coach for one-and-a-half years and as head coach for almost five years. The 2019–20 Cleveland Cavaliers season was the 50th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Malcolm Moses Adams Brogdon (born December 11, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Virginia Cavaliers under Tony Bennett. As a senior in 2015–16, he was a consensus first-team All-American. Domantas Sabonis (; born May 3, 1996) is a Lithuanian-American professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is a two-time NBA All-Star. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. Ronald Jerome "Popeye" Jones (born June 17, 1970) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who serves as an assistant coach for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
