2019–20 Egyptian Super Cup
The 2020 Egyptian Super Cup (also known as the 2018–19 SAIB Egyptian Super Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 17th Egyptian Super Cup, an annual football match played between the winners of the previous season's Egyptian Premier League and Egypt Cup. It was played at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on 20 February 2020, contested by Al Ahly and Zamalek. Zamalek defeated Al Ahly and won the match 4–3 on penalties after being tied 0–0, winning the Egyptian Super Cup title for the fourth time in their history. 2018–19 Egyptian Premier League
The 2018–19 Egyptian Premier League, also known as The WE League for sponsorship purposes, was the 60th season of the Egyptian Premier League, the top Egyptian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1948. The season started on 31 July 2018 and concluded on 28 July 2019. Fixtures for the 2018–19 season were announced on 8 July 2018. El Gouna, Nogoom and Haras El Hodoud entered as the promoted teams from the 2017–18 Egyptian Second Division. They replaced El Raja, Tanta and Al Nasr who were relegated to the 2018–19 Egyptian Second Division. Penalty Kick (association Football)
A penalty kick (commonly known as a penalty or a spot kick) is a method of restarting play in association football, in which a player is allowed to take a single shot at the goal while it is defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. It is awarded when an offence punishable by a direct free kick is committed by a player in their own penalty area. The shot is taken from the penalty mark, which is 11 m (12 yards) from the goal line and centred between the touch lines. Hussein Ali Elshahat Ali Hassan ( arz, حسين علي الشحات علي حسن, born 21 June 1992) is an Egyptian footballer who plays for Al Ahly as a winger, he can also play as an attacking midfielder. Oluwafemi Junior Ajayi (born 29 January 1996), commonly known as Junior Ajayi, is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Egyptian Premier League club Smouha. Ali Maâloul ( ar, عَلِيّ مَعْلُول; born 1 January 1990) is a Tunisian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Al Ahly and the Tunisia national team. Club career Maâloul started his career with hometown club CS Sfaxien and became their captain from the 2014–15 season. The 2018–19 Egypt Cup was the 87th edition of the oldest recognised football tournament in Africa. It is sponsored by WE, and known as the WE Cup for sponsorship purposes.
