2019–20 Arizona Wildcats Men's Basketball Team
The 2019–20 Arizona Wildcats men's basketball team represented the University of Arizona during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by 11th-year head coach Sean Miller and played their home games at McKale Center in Tucson, Arizona as members of the Pac-12 Conference. They finished the season 21–11, 10–8 in Pac-12 play to finish in tie for fifth place. They received the No. 5 seed in the 2019 Pac-12 tournament, where they defeated Washington in the first round and were set to take on USC in the quarterfinals before the remainder of the Pac-12 Tournament was cancelled amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Sean Miller
Sean Edward Miller (born November 17, 1968) is an American college basketball coach who currently serves as head coach of the Xavier Musketeers men's basketball, Xavier Musketeers. He previously was in that position from 2004 to 2009, after which he took the head coach position for the Arizona Wildcats men's basketball, Arizona Wildcats, which he held until being fired in 2021. Miller is a three-time gold medalist as a member of USA Basketball: once as a player, once as an assistant coach, and once as head coach. Miller has won five league Coach of the Year Awards: once in the Atlantic 10 Conference, A10, three in the Pac-12, and once as USA Basketball Coach of the Year. Ryan Luther
Ryan Shanahan Luther (born September 10, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for Manisa BB of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi. He played college basketball for Pittsburgh and Arizona. High school career Luther attended Hampton High School. During his senior season, he scored 30 points against Norwin High School in the Penn-Trafford Basketball Tournament and broke the school scoring record. National Basketball Association (NBA) teams took turns selecting amateur United States college basketball players and other eligible players, including international players. Emmanuel Akot (born March 17, 1999) is a Canadian professional basketball player for the Winnipeg Sea Bears of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). The BYU Cougars men's basketball team represents Brigham Young University in NCAA Division I basketball play.
