Iran
Iran, officially the Islamic Republic of Iran, and also called Persia, is a country located in Western Asia. Jamshid Mashayekhi
Jamshid Mashayekhi ( fa, جمشید مشایخی , November 26, 1934 – April 2, 2019) was an Iranian actor. Career Mashayekhi began professional acting on stage in 1957. His first feature film role was ''Brick and Mirror ''(1965, Ebrahim Golestan). After a four-year break, he acted in ''The Cow (1969 film), The Cow'' (1969, Darius Mehrjui) and ''Kaiser (film), Kaiser'' (1969, Masoud Kimiai). Mashayekhi commonly appeared as an elderly grandfather because of his white hair and charismatic face and figure. Paykan
The Paykan ( fa, پيکان meaning ''Arrow'') is the first Iranian-made car produced by Iran Khodro (formerly called "Iran National") between 1967 and 2005. The car was very popular in Iran from its introduction until its discontinuation. It is often colloquially referred as the Iranian chariot. The Paykan was a Hillman Hunter built under licence, but had some unique body work and locally developed variants (most notably, the pickup, which used a different body shell from the one sold elsewhere). History The design was introduced to Iran by Mahmoud Khayami, co-founder and, by then, owner of the Iran Khodro (formerly called "Iran National") company and factory, who accurately predicted that Iran was in need of a simple "no-frills" motorcar within the price range of ordinary people. A faqīh (plural ''fuqahā'', ar, فقيه, pl. ) is an Islamic jurist, an expert in ''fiqh'', or Islamic jurisprudence and Islamic Law. Ayatollah Mohammad Momen (13 January 1938 – 21 February 2019) was a Faqih (a cleric qualified to judge based on Islamic law) and a very influential member of the Guardian Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Bijan Samandar (June 1, 1941 – January 8, 2019) (Persian: بیژن سمندر) was a prominent Iranian contemporary poet, lyricist and Tar player who has written lyrics for notable artists including Ebi, Dariush, Sattar, Vigen, Moein, Mahasti, Shahram Shabpareh, Andy, Homeyra, Morteza, Hassan Shamaizadeh, and many more.
