2019 Women's Super 3s
The 2019 Women's Super 3s, known for sponsorship reasons as the 2019 Toyota Super 3s, was the fifth Women's Super 3s competition that took place in Ireland. It ran from May to July, with 3 teams taking part made up of the best players in Ireland. The teams played 10 matches each, two 50 over matches and eight Twenty20s. Dragons won the competition, winning their third title, and second in two seasons. Competition format The three teams played ten matches each in a league system. Each team played the other two sides once in a 50 over match and four times in a Twenty20 match, with all matches contributing to a unified table. The league worked on a points system with positions being based on the total points. Points were awarded as follows: Win: 2 points. Shauna Maire Kavanagh (born 21 April 1992) is a Dublin-born Irish international cricketer who plays her club level cricket at Pembroke Cricket Club. She attended school at Loretto College Foxrork, and later attended St. Andrews College in Booterstown, Dublin. Kavanagh is a right-handed batter and wicket-keeper, as well as bowling right-arm medium pace. Amy Hunter (Irish Cricketer)
Amy Hunter (born 11 October 2005) is an Irish cricketer who plays for Dragons and Ireland. In October 2021, during the final match of Ireland's tour of Zimbabwe, Hunter became the youngest cricketer, male or female, to score a century in an ODI match, doing so on her 16th birthday. As a result, Hunter was named as the Irish Times/Sport Ireland Sportswoman for October 2021. In January 2024, Hunter scored her first T20I century in the opening match of a series against Zimbabwe. This meant that she became the first Irish woman, and the third overall, to score a century in both T20I and ODI cricket. Laura Katherine Delany (born 23 December 1992) is an Irish cricketer who currently captains Typhoons and Ireland. She is a right-handed batter and right-arm medium pace bowler.
