2019 Volta A La Comunitat Valenciana
The 70th edition of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana ''(English: Tour of the Valencian Community)'' was held from 6 to 10 February 2019. It was run over five stages, of which one was a time trial, covering a total distance of 647 km. It was a 2.1 event on the 2019 UCI Europe Tour. The race was run entirely in the autonomous community of Valencia, starting in Orihuela and finishing in Valencia. The race was won by Spaniard Ion Izagirre of the team. Alejandro Valverde and Pello Bilbao, also from Spain, finished second and third. Teams Twenty-four teams started the race. 2019 UCI Europe Tour
The 2019 UCI Europe Tour was the fifteenth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2019 season began on 31 January 2019 with the Vuelta a Mallorca, Trofeo Porreres, Felanitx, Ses Salines, Campos and ended on 20 October 2019. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determines how many points are awarded to the top finishers, the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points are awarded. Dylan Teuns
Dylan Teuns (born 1 March 1992) is a Belgian professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Born in Diest in Flemish Brabant, Teuns is based in Halen in Limburg. BMC Racing Team (2015–18) He originally joined as a stagiaire in 2014 before being announced as part of the team's line-up for the 2015 season. He was named in the start list for the 2016 Vuelta a España and the start list for the 2017 Giro d'Italia. In July 2017, Teuns won the Tour de Wallonie, also winning two stages and the points classification alongside his overall success. Teuns then took overall victory in the Tour de Pologne. Dylan Groenewegen (born 21 June 1993) is a Dutch professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He has won five individual Tour de France stages and one team time trial stage. Paterna
Paterna is a city and a municipality in the province of Valencia in the Valencian Community, Spain. It is located northeast of the comarca of '' L'Horta de Valencia'', northwest of the inland suburbs of Valencia, and on the left bank of the river Turia. Adam Richard Yates (born 7 August 1992) is a British road and track racing cyclist who currently rides for . He placed fourth overall at the 2016 Tour de France and became the first British rider to win the young rider classification, one year ahead of his twin brother Simon. Early life and amateur career Adam and Simon took up cycling after their father John was injured in a collision with a car while riding – during his recovery he took the twins to Manchester Velodrome to track sessions run by his cycling club, Bury Clarion, to keep in touch with the other members. Alcossebre
Alcossebre ( es, Alcocebre / Alcocéber) is a seaside village in the Valencian Community located on the Costa del Azahar along the eastern Mediterranean coast of Spain in the province of Castelló. This town falls within the municipal limits of Alcala de Xivert along with neighboring Capicorb and Les Fonts (Las Fuentes). It is a popular tourist destination without too many large buildings. Villarreal ( ca-valencia , Vila-real) is a city and municipality in the province of Castellón which is part of the Valencian Community in the east of Spain.
