2019 USA Sevens
The 2019 USA Sevens (also sometimes referred to as the 2019 Las Vegas Sevens) is the sixteenth edition of the USA Sevens tournament, and the sixth tournament of the 2018–19 World Rugby Sevens Series. The tournament was played March 1–3, 2019 at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. In January 2019, it was reported that the 2019 USA Sevens would be the last in Las Vegas, with the event moving to an unknown city starting from 2020. Possible options are San Diego, which had been home to the USA Sevens before it moved to Las Vegas; San Francisco, which hosted the 2018 Rugby World Cup Sevens; and Miami in Florida. 2018–19 World Rugby Sevens Series
The 2018–19 World Rugby Sevens Series, known for sponsorship reasons as the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, was the 20th annual series of rugby sevens tournaments for national men's rugby sevens teams. The World Rugby Sevens Series, Sevens Series has been run by World Rugby since 1999–2000. This series also, for the second time, doubled as a qualifier for the Rugby sevens at the 2020 Summer Olympics, 2020 Summer Olympics, with the top four countries qualifying automatically. Fiji finished first in the Series, winning five of the ten tournaments. The United States finished in a best-ever second place, reaching the semifinals in all ten tournaments. Kurt Baker (born 7 October 1988) is a New Zealand rugby union player, who currently plays as a fullback or wing for Old Glory DC in Major League Rugby (MLR). Between 2008 and 2022, Baker played for the New Zealand Sevens team in 233 World Rugby Sevens Series games and a total of 53 international tourments. Sione Molia
Sione Molia (born 5 September 1993) is a New Zealand rugby union player. He made his debut for the New Zealand sevens team at the 2016 USA Sevens. He scored two tries at the 2016 Canada Sevens in New Zealand's semi-final match against Australia to help them into the finals. Molia was named as a reserve for the New Zealand sevens team to the 2016 Summer Olympics. After Sonny Bill Williams suffered an injury in their first pool match against Japan, Molia replaced him. Regan Edward Ware (born 7 August 1994) is a New Zealand rugby sevens and rugby union player. He debuted for New Zealand at the 2015 Dubai Sevens tournament. Ware was selected for the New Zealand squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Of Māori descent, Ware affiliates to the Ngāti Korokī Kahukura and Ngāti Porou iwi.
