2019 Tour De Romandie
The 2019 Tour de Romandie was a road cycling stage race, that took place between 30 April and 5 May 2019 in Switzerland. It was the 73rd edition of the Tour de Romandie and the 21st race of the 2019 UCI World Tour. Teams In total, twenty teams start the race. Each team delivered seven riders. 2019 UCI World Tour
The 2019 UCI World Tour was a series of races that included thirty-eight road cycling events throughout the 2019 men's cycling season. It was the first time since the World Tour was launched by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in 2009 that it was not a ranking competition in its own right. The tour started with the opening stage of the Tour Down Under on 15 January and concluded with the final stage of the Tour of Guangxi on 22 October. Events The 2019 calendar was initially announced in June 2018, with the Abu Dhabi Tour being replaced with the UAE Tour, following its merger with the Dubai Tour. In September 2018, the Three Days of Bruges–De Panne was promoted to World Tour level, having been a 1.HC-categorised race in 2018. In November 2018, the Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey was announced to be moving back to April, after the two most recent editions were held in October. Le Locle
Le Locle (; german: Luggli) is a Communes of Switzerland, municipality in the Canton of Neuchâtel in Switzerland. It is situated in the Jura Mountains, a few kilometers from the city of La Chaux-de-Fonds. Carlos Alberto Betancur Gómez (born 13 October 1989) is a Colombian road racing cyclist, who most recently rode for Colombian amateur team . Individual Time Trial
An individual time trial (ITT) is a road bicycle race in which cyclists race alone against the clock (in French: ''contre la montre'' – literally "against the watch", in Italian: ''tappa a cronometro'' "stopwatch stage"). There are also track-based time trials where riders compete in velodromes, and team time trials (TTT). ITTs are also referred to as "the race of truth", as winning depends only on each rider's strength and endurance, and not on help provided by teammates and others riding ahead and creating a slipstream. Torgon
Torgon is a village in the Swiss Alps, located in the canton of Valais. It lies in the western part of the canton, in the region of the Chablais, at an altitude of 1,085 metres. Lucens
Lucens () is a municipality in the Broye-Vully district in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. In 2017 the former municipalities of Brenles, Chesalles-sur-Moudon, Cremin, Forel-sur-Lucens and Sarzens merged into the municipality of Lucens. History Lucens is first mentioned in 964 as ''in villa Losingus''. It was formerly known by the German name ''Losingen''. In 1969 the Lucens reactor, an underground nuclear reactor, began operations. It was a pilot project to test a heavy-water moderated, carbon dioxide gas-cooled reactor.
