2019 South American U-17 Championship
The 2019 South American U-17 Championship ( es, Campeonato Sudamericano Sub-17 Perú 2019, pt-BR, Campeonato Sul-Americano Sub-17 Peru 2019) was the 18th edition of the South American U-17 Championship, the biennial international youth football championship organised by CONMEBOL for the men's under-17 national teams of South America. It was held in Peru from 21 March to 14 April 2019. The top four teams, champions Argentina, which won their fourth title, Chile, Paraguay, and Ecuador, qualified for the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil as the CONMEBOL representatives, besides Brazil who qualified automatically as hosts replacing Peru, despite failing to qualify out of the first stage as defending champions for the first time. Johan Mina
Johan Andreé Mina Mendoza (born 15 May 2002) is an Ecuadorian association football, footballer who plays as a midfielder for SV Werder Bremen II, Werder Bremen II. Club career Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Mina started his career with C.S. Emelec, Emelec at the age of eleven. However, a contract dispute meant that he did not play football at all between 2018 and 2020. He was linked with Spanish and English giants FC Barcelona, Barcelona and Chelsea F.C., Chelsea, but eventually he moved to Germany to sign for SV Werder Bremen, Werder Bremen. In October 2019, while still at Emelec, he was named by English newspaper ''The Guardian'' as one of the best players born in 2003 worldwide.
