2019 Pakistan Cup
The 2019 Pakistan Cup was the fourth edition of the Pakistan Cup, a List A cricket competition which was contested between five teams. It was held from 2 to 12 April 2019, with all the matches played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) stated that the top performers in the tournament would be considered for the 2019 Cricket World Cup in England. Federal Areas were the defending champions, but they lost their first three matches of the tournament, therefore eliminating them from competition. On 9 April 2019, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa beat Sindh by nine runs to advance to the final of the tournament. The result meant that Baluchistan also progressed to the final, regardless of the outcome of their last match against Federal Areas. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa won the tournament, to win their second title, after beating Balochistan by nine runs in the final. Pakistan Cricket Board
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is a sports governing body for cricket in Pakistan responsible for controlling and organising all tours and matches undertaken by the Pakistan national cricket team. A member of the International Cricket Council since 1952, it represents the country's men's and women's national teams in international cricket tournaments played under the ICC. Following the establishment of Pakistan as an independent dominion of the British Empire in 1947, professional and amateur cricket commenced in the same year, seeing as local infrastructure had already been established when the country was part of the British Raj. Cricket matches were arranged informally until 1948, when a Board of Control was formally instituted. Ali Imran (born 25 February 1998) is a Pakistani cricketer. He made his first-class debut for Islamabad in the 2016–17 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy on 12 November 2016. Mohammad Rizwan (cricketer, Born 1992)
Mohammad Rizwan (Urdu, ps, ; born 1 June 1992) is a Pakistani international cricketer who has represented Pakistan in international cricket since 2015. Rizwan is the only batter to score 2000 runs in a calendar year in T20s. He is a right-handed batter and wicket-keeper and has scored centuries in all three international formats: Tests, One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals. Umer Khan (born 5 August 1999) is a Pakistani cricketer. Brought up in Taxila, Umer was picked by Nadeem Khan when he was managing director of the United Bank Limited cricket team in Peshawar. Mohammad Irfan ( Punjabi, ur, ) (born 6 June 1982) is a Pakistani cricketer who has represented Pakistan in Test, ODI and T20 cricket. Haris Rauf (Urdu: حارث رؤف; born 7 November 1993) is a Pakistani cricketer. He made his international debut for the Pakistan cricket team in January 2020. Fawad Tariq Alam (Urdu: فواد عالم, born 8 October 1985) is a Pakistani cricketer and actor who plays for Sindh cricket team, Sindh and the Pakistan national cricket team.
