The 2019 Oracle Challenger Series – Newport Beach was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. Michael Mackenzie Lowe "Mackie" McDonald (born April 16, 1995) is an American professional tennis player. He reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 48 on 1 August 2022, and No. 90 in doubles on 17 October 2022. He won the 2016 NCAA Division I Tennis Championships in both singles and doubles. Juniors career McDonald was a semifinalist in the boys' singles of the 2012 Australian Open. Brayden Schnur (born July 4, 1995) is a Canadian professional tennis player. Schnur reached a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 92 in August 2019. He was a part of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill tennis team from January 2014 to May 2016. Schnur turned professional in July 2016 at the Rogers Cup. Christopher Eubanks (born May 5, 1996) is an American professional tennis player. He played college tennis for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. There, he was a two-time All-American and twice named ACC Player of the Year. Early life and background Christopher is the son of Mark and Carla Eubanks and has one older brother, Mark. Noah Rubin (born February 21, 1996) is an American former professional tennis player. He is a former Wimbledon junior singles champion, and a former USTA junior national champion in both singles and doubles. After turning pro in 2015, he won four ATP Challenger titles. Rubin also played college tennis for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in the 2014–15 season.
