2019 Ohio Valley Conference Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2019 Ohio Valley Conference men's basketball tournament was the final event of the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, 2018–19 season in the Ohio Valley Conference. The tournament was held March 6 through March 9, 2019 at the Ford Center (Evansville), Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. The final featured the regular-season co-champions in 2018–19 Belmont Bruins men's basketball team, Belmont and 2018–19 Murray State Racers men's basketball team, Murray State, with Murray State winning 77–65 and thus earning the conference's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, NCAA tournament. Ford Center (Evansville)
The Ford Center is a multi-use indoor arena in downtown Evansville, Indiana with a maximum seating capacity of 11,000. It officially opened in November 2011 and is mainly used for basketball, ice hockey, and music concerts. It is home to the Evansville Thunderbolts minor league hockey team in the Southern Professional Hockey League and the Evansville Purple Aces men's basketball team, representing the University of Evansville. The UE women's basketball team also played at Ford Center from the venue's opening, but moved its home games back to its campus starting with the 2017–18 season. The 2018–19 Jacksonville State Gamecocks men's basketball team represented Jacksonville State University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season.
