The 2019 Moselle Open was a tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was the 17th edition of the Moselle Open, and part of the ATP Tour 250 Series of the 2019 ATP Tour. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. These courts tend to play medium-fast to fast because there is little energy absorption by the court, as with grass courts but unlike clay courts. Hubert Hurkacz
Hubert Hurkacz (; born 11 February 1997) is a Polish professional tennis player. He has been ranked as high as world No. 9 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), which he first achieved in November 2021, making him the highest-ranked Polish man in singles history. He has won five ATP Tour singles titles, including a Masters 1000 title at the 2021 Miami Open. With the win, he became the first Pole to win an ATP Masters 1000 title. Aljaž Bedene (born 18 July 1989) is a Slovenian former professional tennis player.
