The 2019 Mobile Mini Sun Cup was the ninth edition of the preseason exhibition soccer tournament among Major League Soccer (MLS) and United Soccer League (USL) teams. It was held from February 2 to February 23 in Oro Valley, Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona. FC Dallas is an American professional Association football, soccer club based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Seattle Sounders Football Club is an American professional men's soccer club based in Seattle. The Sounders compete as a member of the Western Conference of Major League Soccer (MLS). The club was established on November 13, 2007, and began play in 2009 as an MLS expansion team. The Sounders are a phoenix club, carrying the same name as the original Sounders franchise that competed in the North American Soccer League (NASL) from 1974 to 1983. Thomas Roberts (born May 11, 2001) is an American professional soccer player who currently plays for MLS Next Pro side Columbus Crew 2. Career Roberts grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas before moving to Dallas in 2013. After five years playing with the FC Dallas Academy, Roberts signed a Homegrown Player contract with Major League Soccer side FC Dallas on July 25, 2018. Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium
Kino Sports Complex is a multiple-use sports complex in Tucson, Arizona. The Arizona Diamondbacks and Chicago White Sox formerly utilized the complex's main ballpark, Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium, for Cactus League games each March and had their minor league complexes on-site. The ballpark was also home to the Tucson Sidewinders of the Pacific Coast League for the team's last decade in Tucson, running from the stadium's 1998 opening season to the 2008 season. The ballpark was a temporary home (2011–2013) to the Tucson Padres (formerly the Portland Beavers) of the Pacific Coast League during the team's relocation to El Paso, Texas. Handwalla Bwana (born June 25, 1999) is a Somali professional footballer who plays for Memphis 901 on loan from Nashville SC of Major League Soccer. Early life Bwana was born in Mombasa, Kenya but spent six years of his childhood at a refugee camp in Kakuma, northwestern Kenya. Alex Muyl (born September 30, 1995) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a winger for Nashville SC in Major League Soccer.
