The 2019 Mid-American Conference football season was the 74th season for the Mid-American Conference (MAC). and is part of the 2019 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The season will begin on August 29 and will end on November 30. The entire schedule was released on February 20, 2019. The 2019 MAC Championship Game, MAC Championship Game will be held on December 7, 2019. The NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), formerly known as Division I-A, is the highest level of college football in the United States. The FBS consists of the largest schools in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). As of 2022, there are 10 conferences and 131 schools in FBS. The 2019 Buffalo Bulls football team represented the University at Buffalo in the 2019 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Thomas Edward Arth (born May 11, 1981) is an American football coach and former player. He is a passing game specialist for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL), a position he had held since 2022. Arth served as the head football coach at John Carroll University from 2013 to 2016, the University of Tennessee Chattanooga from 2017 to 2018, and the University of Akron from 2019 to 2021. Thomas Hammock
Thomas Hammock (born July 7, 1981) is an American football coach. He is the head football coach at Northern Illinois University (NIU), a position he has held since January 2019. Prior to being named the head coach of his alma mater, he served as the running backs coach for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL) from 2014 to 2018. Biography A native of Jersey City, New Jersey, Hammock was born on July 7, 1981. Jim McElwain
James Frank McElwain (born March 1, 1962) is an American football coach who is currently the head coach at Central Michigan University. He previously served as the head coach at Florida from 2015 to 2017, and Colorado State from 2012 to 2014, where he was named the Mountain West Conference Coach of the Year in 2014. John Bonamego
John Frank Bonamego (born August 14, 1963) is an American football coach who serves as a senior coaching assistant for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He has two decades of college and pro coaching experience. He played college football at Central Michigan and also was head coach of the team from 2015 to 2018. Scot Loeffler
Scot Loeffler (born November 1, 1974) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the head coach at Bowling Green State University. He formerly served as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Boston College. He was previously the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Virginia Tech, having previously held the same role at Auburn University under head coach Gene Chizik.
