The 2019 Tata Open Maharashtra was a 2019 ATP Tour men's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 24th edition of the only ATP tournament played in India and took place in Pune, India, from 31 December 2018 through 5 January 2019. First-seeded Kevin Anderson won the singles title. ATP Tour 250
The ATP 250 tournaments (previously known as the ''ATP World Tour 250'' tournaments, ''ATP International Series'', and ''ATP World Series'') are the lowest tier of annual men's tennis tournaments on the main ATP Tour, after the four Grand Slam tournaments, ATP Finals, ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, and ATP 500 tournaments. As of 2020, the series includes 39 tournaments, with 250 ranking points awarded to each singles champion—which accounts for the name of the series. Benoît Paire (; born 8 May 1989) is a French professional tennis player. His best result in a Grand Slam has been reaching the fourth round, which he has achieved on four occasions. He has won three singles titles, at the 2015 Swedish Open, the 2019 Marrakesh Open and the 2019 Lyon Open, and his career-high singles ranking is World No. 18, first achieved in January 2016. Thiago Moura Monteiro (; born 31 May 1994) is a Brazilian professional tennis player. Monteiro has a career high ATP singles ranking of world No. 61 achieved on 17 October 2022. Saketh Myneni (born 19 October 1987) is an Indian professional tennis player. He is conferred with the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2017 and represents India in the Davis Cup.
