2019 La Drôme Classic
The 2019 La Drôme Classic was the 6th edition of the La Drôme Classic cycle race. It was held on 3 March 2019 as a category 1.1 race on the 2019 UCI Europe Tour. The race started and finished in Livron-sur-Drôme. The race was won by French rider Alexis Vuillermoz of , ahead of fellow French riders Valentin Madouas of and Warren Barguil of . 2019 UCI Europe Tour
The 2019 UCI Europe Tour was the fifteenth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2019 season began on 31 January 2019 with the Vuelta a Mallorca, Trofeo Porreres, Felanitx, Ses Salines, Campos and ended on 20 October 2019. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determines how many points are awarded to the top finishers, the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points are awarded. The UCI Continental Circuits are a series of road bicycle racing competitions which were introduced in 2005 by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) to expand cycling around the world. Guillaume Martin (born 9 June 1993) is a French cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career In June 2017, he was named in the startlist for the Tour de France. Romain Bardet (born 9 November 1990) is a French professional racing cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Bardet is known for his climbing and descending abilities, which make him one of the top general classification contenders in Grand Tours. Arthur Vichot (born 26 November 1988) is a French former professional cyclist, who rode professionally between 2010 and 2020, for the and teams. He is the nephew of Frédéric Vichot, who won stages in the Tour de France in 1984 and 1985. Alexis Vuillermoz (born 1 June 1988) is a French road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . Career He was originally a mountain bike racer before switching to road cycling, winning the French national under-23 mountain bike title twice and riding as part of the French national team that took the team relay title at the 2008 Mountain Bike World Championships. The UCI WorldTour (2009–2010: ''UCI World Ranking'') is the premier men's elite road cycling tour, sitting above the UCI ProSeries and various regional UCI Continental Circuits.
