2019 Italian F4 Championship
The 2019 Italian F4 Championship Powered by Abarth was the sixth season of the Italian F4 Championship. Norwegian driver Dennis Hauger dominated the championship, winning twelve out of the 21 races, helping his team Van Amersfoort Racing to become teams' champions. The rookie championship was won by Mercedes junior Paul Aron, who won two races in the overall championship. Hauger's closest challenger Gianluca Petecof won four races, and Roman Staněk, Joshua Dürksen and Giorgio Carrara won one race each. Teams and Drivers Race calendar and results The calendar was revealed on 1 December 2018. Adria International Raceway and Circuit Paul Ricard were replaced in the series schedule by circuits in Hungary and Austria, Hungaroring and Red Bull Ring respectively. The cancelled race from Misano World Circuit was rescheduled to run at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Round 5 as a fourth race. Italian F4 Championship
Italian Formula 4 Championship is the first formula racing series regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations. The inaugural season was the 2014 Italian F4 Championship, effectively replacing the Formula Abarth. History Gerhard Berger and the FIA Singleseater Commission launched the FIA Formula 4 in March 2013. The goal of the Formula 4 is to make the ladder to Formula 1 more transparent. Besides sporting and technical regulations, costs are regulated too. A car to compete in this category may not exceed €30,000 in purchase. A single season in Formula 4 may not exceed €100,000 in costs. The Italian Formula 4 was the first FIA Formula 4 championship to be launched. The Italian championship was launched by the ACI-CSAI on December 12, 2013. WSK Promotions, well known for its kart races in the WSK Euro Series e.a., was contracted to promote the championship. Ido Cohen (born 16 August 2001) is an Israeli racing driver who is currently competing in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship for Rodin Carlin. Career summary Lower formulae Cohen made his car racing debut in 2018, racing in Italian F4 and ADAC Formula 4. In Italian F4, he finished 30th overall (9th in the Rookie Championship), and in ADAC Formula 4, he finished 19th in the standings. Ian Geoffrey Rodríguez Wright (born 28 July 2000) is a Guatemalan racing driver who is currently driving in the Formula Regional Americas Championship for Newman Wachs Racing. Career Karting Born in Guatemala City, Rodríguez started his karting career in 2010. He competed in karts for four years and won the 2012 Easykart International Grand Finals. Lower formulae In 2016 Rodríguez made his single-seater racing debut in the Italian F4 Championship with DRZ Benelli. In 2017, the Guatemalan won a race at Vallelunga, and after another podium in the final race of the season at Monza Rodríguez finished seventh in the drivers' standings. Axel Gnos
Axel Gnos (born 30 April 2003) is a Swiss-French racing driver of Vietnamese descent, who drives for G4 Racing in the Formula Regional European Championship. Career Lower formulae Gnos made his car racing debut in the 2018 Italian F4 Championship with AS Motorsport, where he raced in two rounds. In 2019 he drove in both the Italian and Spanish F4 championships, for Jenzer Motorsport and G4 Racing respectively. Emidio Pesce
Emidio Pesce (born 16 March 2002) is an Italian racing driver currently racing in the Italian GT Championship with Antonelli Motorsport. He previously competed in the Formula Regional European Championship. Career Formula 4 Pesce's first season in single seaters was in 2019 where he competed in the Italian and Spanish F4 seasons with Jenzer. His first round of the season was at Circuit Paul Ricard in the Spanish F4 season where he finished 9th and 11th respectively and retiring in the 3rd race. Jonny Edgar (born 13 February 2004) is an English racing driver currently set to race in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship for MP Motorsport. He is a member of the Red Bull Junior Team and is the 2020 ADAC Formula 4 champion. Bhaitech Racing (sometimes stylised as BhaiTech Racing) was an Italian automotive research and development service provider and motorsport team. History Racing Bhaitech made its racing debut in 2012, contesting the Italian GT Championship using a McLaren 12C GT3.
