2019 Hungarian Open (tennis)
The 2019 Hungarian Open was a men's tennis tournament to be played on outdoor clay courts. It was the 3rd edition of the event, and part of the ATP Tour 250 series of the 2019 ATP Tour. It took place at Sport 11 in Budapest, Hungary, from April 22–28. ATP Tour 250
The ATP 250 tournaments (previously known as the ''ATP World Tour 250'' tournaments, ''ATP International Series'', and ''ATP World Series'') are the lowest tier of annual men's tennis tournaments on the main ATP Tour, after the four Grand Slam tournaments, ATP Finals, ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, and ATP 500 tournaments. As of 2020, the series includes 39 tournaments, with 250 ranking points awarded to each singles champion—which accounts for the name of the series. Draws consist of 28, 32, or 48 for singles and 16 for doubles. Thomas Muster holds the record for most singles titles at 26, while Mike Bryan holds the record for most doubles titles won with 46. Attila Balázs
Attila Balázs (; born September 27, 1988) is a Hungarian professional tennis player. He has a career-high singles ATP ranking of No. 76 achieved on 2 March 2020. He is a seven time Hungarian National Tennis Champion; after Béla von Kehrling, József Asbóth and István Gulyás. He is the fourth Hungarian player who was able to win at least 6 consecutive National Championships. Career As a qualifier, he reached the semifinals of the 2012 BRD Năstase Țiriac Trophy in Bucharest and was defeated by Fabio Fognini. His next best result was the quarterfinals seven years later as a wildcard at the 2019 Hungarian Open with victories over Hubert Hurkacz and sixth seed John Millman. Adrian Mannarino (born 29 June 1988) is a French professional tennis player. He has a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 22, attained on 19 March 2018. He won his first ATP Tour singles title at the 2019 Rosmalen Open on grass. He is currently the highest ranked French player. Dušan Lajović ( sr-cyrl, Душан Лајовић; born 30 June 1990) is a Serbian professional tennis player. Lajović has won one singles and two doubles titles on the ATP Tour. On 29 April 2019, Lajović reached his career-high singles ranking of world No. 23. On 21 September 2020, he peaked at No. 82 in the doubles rankings. He is best known for his clay-court game, kick serve and strong flowing groundstrokes, especially his one-handed backhand. Damir Džumhur ( ; born 20 May 1992) is a professional tennis player from Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is currently Bosnia and Herzegovina's No. 1 player. His career-best singles ranking of World No. 23 achieved on 2 July 2018, makes him the highest-ranked player ever competing for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sergiy Eduardovych Stakhovsky ( uk, Сергій Едуардович Стаховський, ; born January 6, 1986) is a Ukrainian former professional tennis player. Stakhovsky turned professional in 2003 and played mostly at the Challenger level from 2005 to 2008. His career-high rankings were World No. 31 in singles (September 2010) and No. 33 in doubles (June 2011).
