2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League Squads
This article shows the roster of all participating teams at the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League. The 16 national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 21 players, which every week's 14-player roster must be selected from. Each country must declare its 14-player roster two days before the start of each week's round-robin competition. 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League
The 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League was the second edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, an annual international women's volleyball tournament contested by 16 national teams. The competition was held between May and July 2019, and for the second time, the final round took place in the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre, Nanjing, China. United States won their second title in the competition, defeating Brazil in five sets on the final, after being 0–2 down. China defeated Turkey in four sets for the bronze medal. Andrea Drews from USA was elected the MVP. Following the results of the 2018 Nations League and 2018 Challenger Cup, Argentina was replaced by debutants Bulgaria in this edition. Accordingly, following the results of this edition of the Nations League and the 2019 Challenger Cup, Bulgaria was replaced by newcomers Canada in the 2021 edition. Datovoc Tongeren
Damesvolleybalclub Tongeren is a Belgian women's volleyball team based in Tongeren. The club was founded in 1967, under the name Tovoc. After a merger with Hasselt, the club's name changed to Hatovoc. This team promoted for the first time to Ere Divisie Dames in 1985. The merger with Hasselt ended in 1990, and the name was again changed: Datovoc. Datovoc Tongeren has been present at the highest level of the Belgian volleyball league pyramid since 1985, no other team does better. After several national titles and cup wins, and to avoid financial trouble, Datovoc has changed their strategy and now mainly focusses on young, talented Belgian players. This strategy is followed by most of the teams present in Ere Divisie. Osasco Voleibol Clube is a professional women's volleyball club, based in Osasco, São Paulo (state), Brazil. It includes volleyball teams for females of all ages, children through adult. Since the 2021-22 season the club plays under the name Osasco/São Cristóvão Saúde. History The club was founded in 1993, by the BCN bank, as BCN/Guarujá and changed headquarters' city in 1996, thereafter becoming known as BCN/Osasco. The club was renamed to Finasa/Osasco in 2003. Rio de Janeiro Vôlei Clube is a women's volleyball team, based in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro (state), Brazil. Since the 2021-22 season the club plays under the name Sesc-RJ/Flamengo. History It was founded in 1997 as Paraná Vôlei Clube, playing in Curitiba, Paraná, and moved to Rio in 2003. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets is the name used for all of the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), located in Atlanta, Georgia. The teams have also been nicknamed the Ramblin' Wreck, Engineers, Blacksmiths, and Golden Tornado. There are eight men's and seven women's teams that compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I athletics and the Football Bowl Subdivision.
