The 2019 Brasil Open was a tennis tournament played on indoor clay courts. It was the 19th edition of the Brasil Open, and part of the ATP Tour 250 series of the 2019 ATP Tour. ATP Tour 250
The ATP 250 tournaments (previously known as the ''ATP World Tour 250'' tournaments, ''ATP International Series'', and ''ATP World Series'') are the lowest tier of annual men's tennis tournaments on the main ATP Tour, after the four Grand Slam tournaments, ATP Finals, ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, and ATP 500 tournaments. As of 2020, the series includes 39 tournaments, with 250 ranking points awarded to each singles champion—which accounts for the name of the series. Thiago Monteiro (tennis)
Thiago Moura Monteiro (; born 31 May 1994) is a Brazilian professional tennis player. Monteiro has a career high ATP singles ranking of world No. 61 achieved on 17 October 2022. He also has a career high ATP doubles ranking of No. 144 achieved on 31 January 2022. He is currently the No. 1 Brazilian tennis player. On the ITF Junior Circuit, Monteiro peaked in the rankings at No. 2 on 2 February 2012, with his biggest junior singles title being the Grade A, Copa Gerdau in Porto Alegre, Brazil in 2011. Thomaz Cocchiarali Bellucci (born 30 December 1987, in Tietê) is a Brazilian professional tennis player. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 21 in July 2010.
