The 2019 Bendigo Women's International was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the thirteenth edition of the tournament which was part of the 2019 ITF Women's World Tennis Tour. It took place in Bendigo, Australia between 21 and 27 October 2019. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. These courts tend to play medium-fast to fast because there is little energy absorption by the court, as with grass courts but unlike clay courts. Masa Jovanovic ( sr, Maša Jovanović, Маша Јовановић; born 23 November 1994) is an Australian tennis player born in Serbia. Jovanovic has a WTA singles career-high ranking of 583 achieved on 29 January 2018. She also has a WTA doubles career high-ranking of 650 achieved 26 February 2018. Jovanovic has won two doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Naiktha Bains (born 17 December 1997) is an Australian-British tennis player. Bains has won two singles and 17 doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. Tereza Mihalíková (; born 2 June 1998) is a Slovak tennis player.
