2019 Badminton Asia Junior Championships
The 2019 Badminton Asia Junior Championships was the 22nd edition of the Asia continental junior championships to crown the best U-19 badminton players across Asia. This tournament was held in Suzhou, China from 20 to 28 July 2019. Tournament The 2019 Badminton Asia Junior Championships was organized by Chinese Badminton Association, with sanction from the Badminton Asia. This tournament consists of team and individual events. There were 14 teams competing in the mixed team event, which had been held from 20 to 23 July, while the individual events will be held from 24 to 28 July. Venue This international tournament was held at Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre in Suzhou, China. Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre
The Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre () is a sports complex located in the Suzhou Industrial Park, Jiangsu, China. The complex is composed of multiple buildings and stadiums including a stadium, a gymnasium, a natatorium and a business center. The stadium is named Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre Stadium. It was officially opened in January 2019. This sports hub includes commercial center, gymnasium, aquatics center, arena and more. It also has a sports garden which features pedestrian walkways, sport fields and greenery. Construction Initially called the Suzhou Industrial Park Sports Center, the construction site east of Jinji Lake was located within the Suzhou Industrial Park. The plan was for a 60 hectare facility to host a stadium, an indoor arena, an aquatics center and a commercial hub. Syabda Perkasa Belawa
Syabda Perkasa Belawa (25 August 2001 – 20 March 2023) was an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with PB Djarum badminton club from 2013 to 2023, and joined Indonesia national badminton team training center in 2018. Career 2019 In 2019, Syabda was called up to the junior national team for the 2019 Badminton Asia Junior Championships in Suzhou, China, and the BWF World Junior Championships in Kazan, Russia. The team lost the former's final 2–3 to Thailand but won the latter's teams event after dismantling record 13-time title holders China 3–1 in the final. 2022 On 18 April 2022, he was called up to the Indonesia national team for the 2022 Thomas Cup in Nonthaburi, Thailand. Christian Adinata
Christian Adinata (born 16 June 2001) is an Indonesian badminton player. Born in Pati, Adinata started his career at the Tangkas Intiland club. In 2021, he was selected to join the senior national team. Career 2019 In October, Adinata won gold in the mixed team event of the World Junior Championships in Kazan, Russia. In the individual event, he was seeded eighth in the boys' singles and finished in the fourth round. 2022 In April, Adinata reached the semi-finals of Orléans Masters after going from qualification. In May, he won a bronze medal in the men's team at the SEA Games. In June, Adinata won his first senior title at the Italian International. In July, he competed at the Taipei Open but lost in the qualifying round. In October, he competed at the home tournament, Indonesia Masters Super 100 but lost in the quarter-finals from Taiwanese player Lee Chia-hao. Phittayaporn Chaiwan
Lalinrat Chaiwan ( th, ลลินรัตน์ ไชยวรรณ; born Pattarasuda Chaiwan ( th, ภัทรสุดา ไชยวรรณ), 21 February 2001) is a Thai badminton player. She has shown her talent as a badminton player in the junior event tournament. She changed her first name to Phittayaporn ( th, พิทยาภรณ์) after visiting a temple for prayers for a brighter career in badminton. She was crowned champion at the Grand Prix junior tournament in 2017 India and 2018 German, also occupied the girls' singles number 1 in the BWF World Junior Ranking. Born in Lampang Province, Chaiwan was the silver medalist at the 2017 Asian Junior Championships, where she was before won the Junior U–15 Championships in 2015, and U–17 in 2016. She was part of the national team that won the gold medal at the 2017 SEA Games in the women's team event. Benyapa Aimsaard
Benyapa Aimsaard ( th, เบญญาภา เอี่ยมสอาด; born 29 August 2002) is a Thai badminton player. Career Aimsaard educated at the Demonstration School of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University. She entered the international circuit in 2015, at a very young age of 13. At the Asian U–15 Junior Championships, she finished as mixed doubles runner-up with Setthanan Piyawatcharavijit. At the age of 15, she was able to compete in the senior international tournament, by becoming a finalist in the 2017 Lao International Series. Aimsaard later won the 2018 Asian U–17 Junior Championships in the girls' singles and doubles events. In 2019, she won the Mongolia Junior International in the girls' singles event, India Junior International both in singles and mixed doubles. Kunlavut Vitidsarn
Kunlavut Vitidsarn ( th, กุลวุฒิ วิทิตศานต์; simply known as View ( th, วิว); born 11 May 2001) is a Thai badminton player. He was three-times World Junior champion, winning in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Vitidsarn became the first men's singles player to win three World Junior Championships titles, joining Ratchanok Intanon and Chen Qingchen as a three-time winner of the World Junior title in the same discipline. He claimed the gold medal at the Asian Junior Championships in 2019, where he previously won a silver in 2018 and bronze in 2017. Vitidsarn participated at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, and was part of the team Omega took the silver medal in the mixed team event. He was named the 2020/2021 Eddy Choong Most Promising Player.
