2019 Arkansas Razorbacks Football Team
The 2019 Arkansas Razorbacks football team represented the University of Arkansas in the 2019 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Razorbacks played their home games at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas, with one home game at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. Arkansas played as a member of the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). On November 10, 2019, a day after the Razorbacks' loss to Western Kentucky, second-year head coach Chad Morris was fired. He finished at Arkansas with a record of 4–18, going 0–14 in SEC play. Tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. finished the season as interim head coach. Chad Morris
Chad Allen Morris (born December 4, 1968) is an American football coach. He is currently an offensive analyst at South Florida. Morris served as the head football coach at Southern Methodist University (SMU) from 2015 to 2017 and the University of Arkansas from 2018 to 2019. Coaching career Prior to his collegiate coaching career, he was a high school head coach in Texas for 16 seasons compiling a 169–38 record (.816 winning overall). Most recently he was the head coach of the Lake Travis High School football team from 2008 to 2009. He coached the team, starring quarterback Garrett Gilbert, to back-to-back 16–0, state title seasons. Morris made the move to college in 2010 when he became the offensive coordinator and associate head coach at the University of Tulsa. De'Jon Raiheem "Scoota" Harris (born November 1, 1997) is an American football linebacker for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Arkansas. Harris has also been a member of the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers. The Arkansas–Texas A&M football rivalry is an American college football rivalry between the Arkansas Razorbacks and Texas A&M Aggies, which started in 1903. Between 1992 and 2008, the schools did not play each other when Arkansas left the Southwest Conference to join the Southeastern Conference.
