2019 Africa Cup Of Nations Qualification Group E
Group E of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualification tournament was one of the twelve groups to decide the teams which qualified for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations finals tournament. The group consisted of four teams: Nigeria national football team, Nigeria, South Africa national football team, South Africa, Libya national football team, Libya, and Seychelles national football team, Seychelles. The teams played against each other in home-and-away round-robin tournament, round-robin format between June 2017 and March 2019. Nigeria and South Africa, the group winners and runners-up respectively, qualified for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations Qualification
The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualification matches were organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to decide the participating teams of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, the 32nd edition of the international men's football championship of Africa. As per the decision of the CAF Executive Committee on 20 July 2017, a total of 24 teams qualified to play in the final tournament. Draw A total of 51 teams entered the tournament, including Cameroon which would have qualified automatically for the final tournament as the hosts before their hosting rights were stripped. The draw for the qualifications stage took place on 12 January 2017, 19:30 UTC+1, in Libreville, Gabon.
