2018–19 Women's FIH Series Finals
The 2018–19 Women's FIH Series Finals were the second stage of the 2018–19 edition of the Hockey Series. It was held in June 2019. The top two teams from each event qualified for the 2019 FIH Olympic Qualifiers. Qualification The following 24 teams, shown with pre-tournament World Rankings as of December 2018, when the pools were composed, qualified for the FIH Series Finals. Banbridge The tournament was originally scheduled to take place in Dublin but the venues, where it would be held, would not be finished in time, so the tournament was moved to Banbridge. Gurjit Kaur
Gurjit Kaur (born 25 October 1995) is an Indian female field hockey player. She plays the position of a defender and is also the team's designated drag flicker. She has represented India internationally, most recently at the Hockey World Cup 2018. She was the most successful goal-scorer during India's Asia Cup title triumph with 8 goals. She has played 53 international matches, . She was named women's "Player of the Year" at FIH Player of the Year Awards for the year 2020-21. Banbridge Hockey Club
Banbridge Hockey Club is a Field hockey, hockey club based in Banbridge, County Down, Northern Ireland. The club was formed in 1897. Grounds The club's first home was at Millmount Green, off the Lurgan Road in Banbridge. In 1949, the club purchased grounds at Castlewellan Road. These continued to be used until 1998 when the need for an artificial-turf pitch meant a move to the new Banbridge (district), Banbridge District Council facilities at Havelock Park. Career Domestic league In the Czech National League, Lehovcová represents HC Slavia Praha. Kathryn "Katie" Mullan (born 7 April 1994) is an Ireland women's field hockey international player from Coleraine, Northern Ireland. She was captain of the Ireland team that played in the 2018 Women's Hockey World Cup final. Mullan has also won Irish Senior Cup and Women's Irish Hockey League titles with UCD.
