2018–19 Women's CEV Cup
} The 2018–19 Women's CEV Cup was the 47th edition of the European CEV Cup volleyball club tournament, the former "Top Teams Cup". Format The tournament is played on a knockout format, with 27 teams participating. Initially 20 teams were allocated direct vacancies to enter the competition, with another 7 teams joining the competition via Champions League qualification. On 29 June 2018, a drawing of lots in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, determined the team's pairing for each match. Each team plays a home and an away match with result points awarded for each leg (3 points for 3–0 or 3–1 wins, 2 points for 3–2 win, 1 point for 2–3 loss). After two legs, the team with the most result points advances to the next round. In case the teams are tied after two legs, a is played immediately at the completion of the second leg. The Women's CEV Cup, formerly known as CEV Cup Winners' Cup (from 1972 to 2000) and CEV Top Teams Cup (from 2000 to 2007), is the second-top official competition for women's volleyball clubs of Europe and takes place every year. It is organized by the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball (CEV) and was created in 1972 as . Sliedrecht Sport is a Dutch volleyball club based in Sliedrecht. It has professional and amateur teams (men, women, youth and beach volleyball) with the women's team being the most successful, having won the national league, cup and supercup multiple times, and currently playing in the Eredivisie Dames, the highest level in the Netherlands. VC Levski Sofia ( bg, ВК Левски София) is a professional Bulgarian volleyball team based in Sofia. It has both men's and women's teams, both playing in its respective Bulgarian Volleyball Leagues. Odbojkarski klub Nova KBM Branik ( en, Nova KBM Branik Volleyball Club), commonly referred to as OK Nova KBM Branik or simply Branik, is a professional women's volleyball team based in Maribor. Nova KBM Branik competes in the Slovenian Volleyball League. Formed in 1946, they are the most successful Slovenian women's volleyball team, winning the Slovenian League 16 times, Slovenian Cup 18 times and the regional MEVZA League 4 times.
