2018–19 Walsall F.C. Season
The 2018–19 season was Walsall's 131st season in their existence and their 12th consecutive season in League One. Along with competing in League One, the club participated in the FA Cup, League Cup and EFL Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019. Walsall F
Walsall (, or ; locally ) is a market town and administrative centre in the West Midlands County, England. Historically part of Staffordshire, it is located north-west of Birmingham, east of Wolverhampton and from Lichfield. Walsall is the administrative centre of the wider Metropolitan Borough of Walsall. It was transferred from Staffordshire to the newly created West Midlands County in 1974. At the 2011 census, the town's built-up area had a population of 67,594, with the wider borough having a population of 269,323. Ibrahim Afellay
Ibrahim Afellay (born 2 April 1986) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder or winger. He played youth football at Elinkwijk before joining the PSV Eindhoven youth academy at age 10. After debuting in 2004, he represented PSV for eight seasons, helping them to four Eredivisie titles before moving to Barcelona for €3 million in January 2011. Rarely used by Barcelona and marred by injury, he was loaned to Schalke 04 and Olympiacos before signing for Stoke City in 2015. Rushall, West Midlands
Rushall is a suburb in the Metropolitan Borough of Walsall in the West Midlands County, West Midlands, England. It is centred on the main road between Walsall and Lichfield. It is mentioned in the ''Domesday Book'' but has mostly developed since the 1920s. Rushall was historically a part of the county of Staffordshire before it was incorporated with much of the old Aldridge-Brownhills Urban District into the modern-day Walsall district. Heritage The first record of Rushall occurs in ''Domesday Book'' (1086), where its total annual value to its lord was assessed as 10 shillings, from a village of eight households and a Mill (grinding), mill. Nicholas Devlin (born 17 October 1993) is a Scottish professional Association football, footballer who plays as a right-sided Defender (association football)#Full-back, full-back for Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen F.C., Aberdeen. Justin Donovan Richards (born 16 October 1980) is an English former footballer who played as a striker. He has a tally of around one goal every four games and has played mostly in the Conference and lower reaches of the English Football League. Something of a journeyman player, he has tended to play for teams in his local area around the Midlands and Southern England.
