2018–19 Utah Jazz Season
The 2018–19 Utah Jazz season was the 45th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the 40th season of the franchise in Salt Lake City. On March 28, the Jazz qualified the playoffs for the third straight season. The Jazz had the second best team defensive rating in the NBA. In the playoffs, the Jazz lost to the Houston Rockets in the First Round in five games. Quin Snyder
Quin Price Snyder (born October 30, 1966) is an American basketball coach who most recently served as the head coach for the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA). After being named a McDonald's All American as a high school player in Washington, he played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils. He was the head coach of the Jazz for eight seasons, and known for being an offensive minded tactician. Early life Snyder was born in Mercer Island, Washington, and graduated from Mercer Island High School in 1985. The 2018–19 Portland Trail Blazers season was the franchise's 49th season in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Prior to the season, owner Paul Allen died at the age of 65, and thus the team's ownership was (and is currently) managed by his estate. Ekpedeme Friday "Ekpe" Udoh ( ; born May 20, 1987) is a Nigerian-American professional basketball player for Shimane Susanoo Magic of the Japanese B.League. He played college basketball for the Michigan Wolverines and the Baylor Bears. In the 2010 NBA draft, he was selected by the Golden State Warriors with the sixth overall pick.
