2018–19 Portland Pilots Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Portland Pilots men's basketball team represents the University of Portland during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Pilots, led by third-year head coach Terry Porter, play their home games at the Chiles Center as members of the West Coast Conference. They finished the season 7–25, 0-16 in WCC play to finish in last place. They lost in the first round of the WCC tournament to San Diego. Previous season The Pilots finished the 2017–18 season 10–22, 4–14 in WCC play to finish in ninth place. They lost in the first round of the WCC tournament to Loyola Marymount. Terry Porter
Terry Porter (born April 8, 1963) is an American former college basketball coach and former player in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was most recently the head men's basketball coach at the University of Portland. A native of Wisconsin, he played college basketball at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point before being drafted 24th by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 1985 NBA draft. In Portland, he played ten seasons with two All-Star Game appearances. Porter spent 17 years in the NBA as a player. Following his retirement as a player in 2002, he began coaching in the league. Porter has twice been a head coach, first with his hometown Milwaukee Bucks and then with the Phoenix Suns. Early life Porter was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on April 8, 1963. Columbia Lions Men's Basketball
The Columbia Lions basketball team is the basketball team that represents Columbia University in New York City. The school's team currently competes in the Ivy League. The team's last appearance in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament was in 1968. The Lions are led by head coach Jim Engles. Their home games are held in the Levien Gymnasium. Columbia began varsity intercollegiate competition in men's basketball in 1901. San Bernardino High School (SBHS) is an American public high school and city located at 1850 North E Street within San Bernardino, California and a member of the San Bernardino City Unified School District. SBHS was granted charter as a city in 1963, under the name Cardinal City after the school's mascot, the Cardinal. SBHS is the oldest high school in the City of San Bernardino. Jesuit High School is a private, Catholic, college-preparatory school run by the USA West Province of the Society of Jesus in Beaverton outside Portland, Oregon, United States, in the Archdiocese of Portland. Wayne High School is a secondary public school located in Huber Heights, Ohio, north of Dayton, Ohio. With the high school being established in 1956, the school district was formerly known as Wayne Township Local School District. Cañada College is a public community college in Redwood City, California. It is located on in the western part of Redwood City. It is one of the smallest community colleges in the San Francisco Bay Area.
