2018–19 Northwestern Wildcats Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Northwestern Wildcats men's basketball team represented Northwestern University in the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by sixth-year head coach Chris Collins as members of the Big Ten Conference. They played their home games at the newly renovated Welsh-Ryan Arena in Evanston, Illinois. The Wildcats finished the season 13–19, 4–16 in Big Ten play to finish in last place. They lost in the first round of the Big Ten tournament to Illinois. Previous season The Wildcats finished the 2017–18 season 15–17, 6–12 in Big Ten play to finish in 10th place. They lost in the second round of the Big Ten tournament to Penn State. Chris Collins (basketball)
Christopher Ryan Collins (born April 19, 1974) is an American basketball coach who is currently the head men's coach at Northwestern University. Collins previously served as associate head coach of the Duke University men's basketball team and is the son of National Basketball Association (NBA) player, coach, and commentator Doug Collins. Playing career At Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook, Illinois, Collins played on the varsity basketball and won Illinois Mr. Basketball and McDonald's All American honors. After high school, he went on to play at Duke University. Collins received many honors for his play at Duke and was named to the All-ACC rookie team as a freshman in 1993. Grand Canyon Antelopes Men's Basketball
The Grand Canyon Antelopes men's basketball team represents Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. They are a member of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). they are led by head coach Bryce Drew and play their home games at the GCU Arena. They made the jump to NCAA Division I and joined the WAC on July 1, 2013. During their time as a member of the NAIA, they were national champions in 1975, 1978, and 1988. Northfield Mount Hermon School
Northfield Mount Hermon School, often called NMH, is a co-educational preparatory school in Gill, Massachusetts, in the United States. It is a member of the Eight Schools Association. Present day NMH offers nearly 200 courses, including AP and honors classes in every discipline. Every semester, students take three major courses, each 70 minutes long, as opposed to five 50-minute classes which are more typical of high schools. Peter Lucas Nance (born February 19, 2000) is an American basketball player for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball at Northwestern and North Carolina. High school career Nance played at Revere High School. In his senior season, Nance was 6 feet, 10 inches tall and weighed 205 pounds. The Evansville Purple Aces men's basketball team represents the Purple Aces of the University of Evansville, located in Evansville, Indiana, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. They play their home games at the Ford Center. Evansville's athletics teams were originally known as the Pioneers in the early part of the 1900s. In the 1920s, the name Aces arose after a local sports writer wrote in a game story of the men's basketball team, "They played like Aces." Bryant Scott McIntosh (born November 20, 1994) is an American former basketball player and current Assistant Coach for the Northwestern Wildcats of the Big Ten Conference. He played college basketball for the Northwestern Wildcats. He holds the Northwestern single-game, single-season and career assist records. Scott Christopher Lindsey (born May 20, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for the Winnipeg Sea Bears of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). He played college basketball for the Northwestern Wildcats. High school career Lindsey was a star basketball player at Fenwick High School.
