The 2018–19 season was the fifth season in Kerala Blasters FC's existence, as well as their fifth season in Indian Super League. Review and events Indian Super League Kerala Blasters started their 2018–19 Hero Indian Super League campaign with a 0–2 victory over ATK. But the Hero ISL 2018–19 was a disastrous campaign for Kerala Blasters as they finished the season in 9th place in the table. Kerala Blasters Football Club (), commonly referred to as The Blasters, is an Indian professional football club based in Kochi, Kerala, that competes in the Indian Super League, the top tier of football in India. The club was established in May 2014 during the inaugural season of the Indian Super League. The club played their inaugural match on 13 October 2014, losing 1–0 to NorthEast United. The Blasters are the three time runners up of the Indian Super League. They first entered the final in 2014, where they lost 1–0 to  ATK after an injury time goal from them. In 2016, they were again defeated 4–3 by ATK, this time through penalties in the final. The club entered the final for the third time in 2022, where they were defeated 3–1 by Hyderabad FC through penalties. The Blasters plays home games at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi. Prasanth Karuthadathkuni Mohan (born 24 June 1997) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Indian Super League club Punjab. Club career Youth and early career Born in Kerala, Prasanth originally began his athletic career as a runner, winning a bronze medal at a state meet in Kozhikode. He then started to play football in 2008 after being convinced to do so by his brother, Pramod. He went on to represent the Kerala under-14 side in 2010 before appearing for selection trials for the AIFF Regional Academy in May 2012. He was able to trial for a spot in the academy after his performances for his state during the South Zone under-16 championship a few months prior. Prasanth was trialing with 54 other prospects for a spot in the academy. Halicharan Narzary (Bodo हलिचरन नार्जारी born 10 May 1994) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Indian Super League club Bengaluru. Lalruatthara (born 7 January 1995) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for I-League club Inter Kashi.
