2018–19 CSA 3-Day Provincial Cup
The 2018–19 CSA 3-Day Provincial Cup was a first-class cricket competition that took place in South Africa from 4 October 2018 to 14 April 2019. This was the first edition of the tournament not to be sponsored by Sunfoil, after they decided not to renew their sponsorship. The competition was played between the thirteen South African provincial teams. Cricket South Africa
Cricket South Africa (CSA) is the governing body for both professional and amateur cricket in South Africa. In 1991, the separate South African Cricket Union and the South African Cricket Board merged to form the United Cricket Board of South Africa (UCB), ending enforced racial separation governance in South African cricket. Boland Cricket Team
The Boland is a first-class cricket team that nominally represents the Boland region, in the South African province of Western Cape, in the CSA Provincial Competitions. The team is selected and supported by the Boland Cricket Board (BCB) and plays its home games at Boland Park in Paarl. At organisational level, the BCB is responsible for the administration and development of cricket in the region and among its primary functions are management and promotion of the Boland team. The current BCB was founded in 1992 as a merger between the Boland Cricket Union and an earlier Boland Cricket Board. Adv. Nkululeko Molale Serame (born 26 January 1987) is a South African first-class cricketer. He played in the 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka. He is an off-spinner in the classic mould and a lower-order batsman. Before the U19 World Cup, Serame had already played List A cricket, making his first-team debut in January 2006 for North West against Northerns. He took 1 wicket for 46 runs (1/46). He had a disappointing World Cup, in that in four matches he took one wicket at an average of 133. Clayton August (born 16 February 1990) is a South African cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a left-arm fast-medium bowler who played for Boland. He was born in Vredenburg. Northern Cape (formerly Griqualand West) is a first-class cricket team that nominally represents the South African province of Northern Cape in the CSA Provincial Competitions. The team is selected and supported by Northern Cape Cricket and plays its home games at the De Beers Diamond Oval in Kimberley. North West Cricket Team
North West (formerly Western Transvaal) plays first-class cricket in South Africa. For the purposes of the SuperSport Series, North West has merged with Gauteng (formerly Transvaal) to form the Highveld Lions or, more simply, "the Lions".
