2018–19 Bulgarian Cup
The 2018−19 Bulgarian Cup was the 37th official edition of the Bulgarian annual football knockout tournament. The competition began on 25 September 2018 with the first round and finished with the final on 15 May 2019. Slavia Sofia were the defending champions, but lost on penalties in the round of 16 to Ludogorets Razgrad. The final was contested between Lokomotiv Plovdiv and Botev Plovdiv, thus being the first ever final to feature the Plovdiv derby. Lokomotiv won the final with the score of 1–0 and clinched their first ever cup title. They also qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League. PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv
PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv ( bg, ПФК Локомотив Пловдив), commonly known as Loko Plovdiv, is a Bulgarian professional football club based in Plovdiv. Lokomotiv's home ground is the Lokomotiv Stadium which is situated in Lauta Park and has a capacity of 14,000 spectators. Founded on 25 July 1926, Lokomotiv is one of the most popular teams in Bulgaria and currently competes in the top-flight First League, which they have won once (in 2004). CSKA Sofia ( bg, ЦСКА София) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Sofia and currently competing in the country's premier football competition, the First League. FC Kariana Erden ( bg, ФК Кариана Ерден) is a Bulgarian football club based in Erden, that plays in A Regional League, the 4th level of Bulgarian football. History 2014–2020: Milan Yosifov Era They become champions in 2015, winning the Bulgarian A Regional Group and promoting to V Group. For the 2015-16 season, the team got a new sport complex. FC Dobrudzha ( bg, ФК Добруджа) is a Bulgarian football club based in Dobrich, that competes in the Second League, the second tier of Bulgarian football. Chernomorets ( bg, Черноморец) is a Bulgarian football club based in Balchik, that competes in the North-East Third League, the third tier of Bulgarian football. The team plays its home games at the local Balchik Stadium with 3,200 seats. History Chernomorets were founded as Sport Club Strela in late 1918 by English and Italian soldiers after World War I. The team finally became known as Chernomorets in 1957. In its history, Chernomorets has played mainly in the Bulgarian amateurs divisions. Botev ( bg, Ботев) is a Bulgarian football club based in Galabovo, Stara Zagora Province. The club last played in the Second League, the second division of Bulgarian football, having been promoted as champions of the South-Eastern V Group in 2012–13. The club was founded in 1945. FC Vitosha ( bg, ФК Витоша) is a Bulgarian association football club based in Bistritsa, Sofia City Province, which competes in the Second League, the second tier of Bulgarian football. It is named after the Vitosha mountain range, where Bistritsa is located. Vitosha was founded in 1958, however, the club spent the majority of its history playing in lower leagues. Vereya ( bg, Верея) is a Bulgarian association football club based in Stara Zagora, which currently competes in the Southeast Third League, the third tier of Bulgarian football.
