The 2018–19 season was Brentford's 129th year in existence and fifth consecutive season in the Championship. Along with competing in the Championship, the club also participated in the FA Cup and the EFL Cup. The season covers the period from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019 and was their penultimate at Griffin Park. Brentford is a suburban town in West London, England and part of the London Borough of Hounslow. It lies at the confluence of the River Brent and the Thames, west of Charing Cross. Its economy has diverse company headquarters buildings which mark the start of the M4 corridor; in transport it also has two railway stations and Boston Manor Underground station on its north-west border with Hanwell. Cole Perry Dasilva (born 11 May 1999) is a professional footballer who plays as a full back for club Biggleswade Town. Dasilva is a product of the Chelsea and Luton Town academies and began his professional career with Brentford in 2018. Following his release in 2020 and spell with Leicester City U23, Dasilva transferred to Croatian club HNK Šibenik in 2021. He returned to England in 2022 and dropped into non-League football. Julian Marc Jeanvier (born 31 March 1992) is a professional footballer who plays as a central defender for club Auxerre and the Guinea national team. Luka Racic (born 8 May 1999) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Slaven Belupo. Racic is a graduate of the F.C. Copenhagen academy and began his senior career in England with Brentford in 2018. The Breiðablik men's football team is the men's football department of the Breiðablik multi-sport club. It currently plays in the Besta deild karla, the top-tier men's football league in Iceland; they finished 1st in 2022. The team is based in Kópavogur, a short distance south of Reykjavik.
