Scott Wachenheim
Scott Allen Wachenheim (born August 13, 1962) is an American football coach and, most recently, the head coach of the VMI Keydets football team. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Wachenheim has been an assistant coach at various positions for nine different teams, ranging from the NCAA Division I FBS and FCS to a brief stint in the National Football League (NFL). Wachenheim was most recently hired as the head coach of the VMI Keydets on December 14, 2014, replacing former bench boss Sparky Woods after seven seasons. Before that, he served as an offensive line coach at Virginia under Mike London for four seasons. Playing career Wachenheim attended the United States Air Force Academy from 1980 to 1983 where he was a four-year starter on the football team. 2018 East Tennessee State Buccaneers Football Team
The 2018 East Tennessee State Buccaneers football team represented East Tennessee State University (ETSU) in the 2018 NCAA Division I FCS football season and were in the third year of their second stint as football members of the Southern Conference (SoCon). They were led by first-year head coach Randy Sanders and played their home games at William B. Greene Jr. Stadium. Max Finley Stadium is the home stadium for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga American football, football team and Chattanooga FC (National Independent Soccer Association, NISA), a professional Division 3 soccer team. Military Classic Of The South
The Military Classic of the South is an American college football rivalry game played between The Citadel and the Virginia Military Institute. The first game between the two military schools was in 1920. The game has been played nearly continuously since World War II; since then, only five seasons have seen the game not played. The 78th and most recent game of the series saw The Citadel defeat VMI 26–22 at Alumni Memorial Field in Lexington, Virginia. History The teams first played each other in 1920. The trophy that is currently awarded, the Silver Shako, was introduced in 1976. The game has been played nearly continuously since World War II, with no matchup in 1956, 2004, and 2008–2010. Seibert Stadium
Seibert Stadium is a 6,700-seat multi-purpose stadium in Homewood, Alabama. It is home to the Samford University Bulldogs college football team. The facility opened in 1958 and is named for F. Page Seibert, who in 1961, donated money for the completion of the stadium. The largest crowd in stadium history was in 1994 when over 11,000 showed up to see Steve McNair and Alcorn State. History The four-level Bashinsky Press Tower was completed before the 1989 season. This Georgian-Colonial structure contains complete facilities for print and electronic media on the third level, reserved seating for 51 guests on the second level, and a concession stand and restroom facilities on the ground floor.
