2018 Speedway Grand Prix Of Slovenia
The 2018 Aztorin Slovenian FIM Speedway Grand Prix was the eighth race of the 2018 Speedway Grand Prix season. It took place on September 7 at the Matija Gubec Stadium in Krško, Slovenia. Riders First reserve Niels-Kristian Iversen replaced the injured Matej Žagar. The Speedway Grand Prix Commission also nominated Matic Ivačič as the wild card, and Nick Škorja and Denis Štojs both as Track Reserves. Results The Grand Prix was won by Patryk Dudek, who beat defending world champion Jason Doyle, Greg Hancock and Fredrik Lindgren in the final. It was the second Grand Prix win of Dudek's career. Overall leader Tai Woffinden finished 14th, scoring just five points, while his nearest challenger Bartosz Zmarzlik scored 12 points on the way to reaching the semi-finals. Krško
Krško (; german: Gurkfeld) is a town in eastern Slovenia. It is the seat of the City municipality of Krško. The town lies on the Sava River and on the northwest edge of the Krško Plain ( sl, Krško polje), which is part of the larger Krka Flat ( sl, Krška ravan). The area is divided between the traditional regions of Styria (territory on the left bank of the Sava) and Lower Carniola (territory on the right bank of the Sava). Andreas Jonsson
Andreas Karl Rune Jonsson (born 3 September 1980 in Stockholm, Sweden) is an international motorcycle speedway rider. He was a member of the Sweden speedway team that won the World Cup in 2003, 2004 and 2015. Career summary Jonsson won Under-21 titles at World, Scandinavian and Swedish levels and won the $100,000 first prize on offer at the 100th Speedway Grand Prix, billed as the 'Richest Minute in Motorsport'. Krzysztof Kasprzak
Krzysztof Kasprzak (; born 18 July 1984 in Leszno, Poland) is an international speedway rider who became World Under-21 Champion in 2005 and won the silver medal during the 2014 Speedway Grand Prix. Szymon Woźniak (born 6 May 1993) is a Polish speedway rider. Career He rode for his hometown club, Polonia Bydgoszcz in the Speedway Ekstraliga up to 2015 before moving to Sparta Wrocław for the 2016 season. Craig William Cook (born 21 May 1987) is a British speedway rider. Career Born in Whitehaven, Cook's speedway career began in 2008. In 2009 Cook won the National League Riders Championship and three years later won the Premier League Riders' Championship. He rode for Peterborough Panthers in 2010. He moved on to Edinburgh Monarchs, who he rode for in the Premier League between 2011 and 2015, and was part of the Belle Vue Aces team that competed in the Elite League from 2011 until 2018. Nicki Pedersen
Nicki Pedersen (born 2 April 1977) is a Danish motorcycle speedway rider. He has won the World Championship in 2003, 2007 and 2008 and was a World Cup winner with Denmark in 2006, 2008, 2012 and 2014. Martin Vaculík (born 5 April 1990) is a Slovak motorcycle speedway rider who is riding for the Stal Gorzów Wielkopolski in the Speedway Ekstraliga, Polish Speedway Ekstraliga.
