2018 Pro14 Grand Final
The 2018 Pro14 Grand Final was the final match of the 2017–18 Pro14 season. The 2017–18 season is the fourth with Guinness as the title sponsor, the ninth with a Grand Final and the first season with 14 teams, following the admission of two South African teams. The final was played at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin and saw Leinster defeat the Scarlets 40–32. 2017–18 Pro14
The 2017–18 PRO14 (also known as the ''Guinness PRO14'' for sponsorship reasons) was the seventeenth season of the professional rugby union competition originally known as the Pro14, Celtic League. It is the first season to be referred to as the ''Guinness Brewery, Guinness PRO14 Championship'', with the addition of two South African teams. Fourteen teams competed in this season — four Irish teams: Connacht Rugby, Connacht, Leinster Rugby, Leinster, Munster Rugby, Munster and Ulster Rugby, Ulster; two Italian teams: Benetton Rugby, Benetton and Zebre; two Scottish teams: Edinburgh Rugby, Edinburgh and Glasgow Warriors; two South African teams: Cheetahs (rugby union), Cheetahs and the Southern Kings; and four Welsh teams: Cardiff Blues, Dragons (rugby union), Dragons, Ospreys (rugby union), Ospreys and Scarlets. Johnny McNicholl
Johnny McNicholl (born 24 September 1990) is a New Zealand born rugby union player who plays as a Winger or fullback for the Scarlets regional side in the Pro14 league and the Wales national team. Career McNicholl was a stand-out performer in the 2012 National Provincial Championship, heading the Top tryscorers list with 10, three ahead of his nearest rival. Cian Healy
Cian Healy (born 7 October 1987) is an Irish rugby union rugby player. He plays for Leinster, and has also won over 100 caps for the Ireland national team. He was named as part of the Lions squad for the 2013 British & Irish Lions tour to Australia, but withdrew due to injury playing only twice. Tadhg Furlong
Tadhg Furlong (born 14 November 1992) is an Irish rugby union player for Leinster in the Pro14 and European Rugby Champions Cup. His preferred position is tighthead prop. Internationally, Furlong has represented Ireland and, in 2017 and 2021, the British & Irish Lions. James Ryan (rugby Union, Born 1996)
James John Ryan (born 24 July 1996) is an Irish professional rugby union player who plays as a lock for United Rugby Championship club Leinster and the Ireland national team. Rhys Ruddock
Rhys Ruddock (born 13 November 1990) is a professional rugby union player. He currently plays for St Mary's College RFC and Leinster Rugby, Leinster. He plays in the backrow, at 6 or 8. Isakeli "Isa" Nacewa (born 22 July 1982) is a former rugby union player and coach. Born in New Zealand of Fijian descent, he represented the Fiji national team, winning one cap in 2003. Garry Ringrose (born 26 January 1995) is an Irish rugby union player for Leinster and the Ireland national rugby union team. He usually plays at Centre. Rob Kearney
Robert Kearney (born 26 March 1986) is an Irish rugby union former player. He played for 15 years for Leinster followed by a 6 month stint in Australia, playing for Perth based side Western Force. He also played over a decade for the Ireland national rugby union team with whom he earned 95 caps, and went on two British & Irish Lions tours in 2009 and 2013.
