The 2018 Pac-12 Conference men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Pac-12 Conference and was played during March 7–10, 2018, at T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. Number 1 seed Arizona defeated Number 2 seed USC in the championship game. Deandre Ayton was the Tournament MVP. 2017–18 Arizona State Sun Devils Men's Basketball Team
The 2017–18 Arizona State Sun Devils men's basketball team represented Arizona State University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Sun Devils were led by third-year head coach Bobby Hurley, and played their home games at Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe, Arizona as members of Pac–12 Conference. They finished the season 20–12, 8–10 in Pac-12 play to finish in a tie for eighth place. They lost in the first round of the Pac-12 tournament to Colorado. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament where they lost in the First Four to Syracuse. Thomas Clark Welsh (born February 3, 1996) is an American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins. As a senior in 2017–18, Welsh earned second-team all-conference honors in the Pac-12. He was selected by the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the 2018 NBA draft with the 58th overall pick.
