2018 PSL Grand Prix Conference
The 2018 Chooks-To-Go PSL Grand Prix Conference was the first conference and first indoor tournament for the Philippine Super Liga's sixth season. The games commenced February 17, 2018 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig and the formal opening ceremony was held on February 24, 2018 at the Santa Rosa Multipurpose Complex in Santa Rosa, Laguna. The tournament was moved from October to February in order to align with the new competition calendar approved by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC). The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers is a professional women's volleyball club in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). The team is owned by Efren E. Uy (Chairman, President, and CEO) of F2 Logistics Philippines, Inc. Background The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers was formed by F2 Logistics Philippines Inc. It debuted in the Philippine Super Liga, Philippine Superliga (PSL) in 2016 PSL season, 2016. On March 11, 2021, the team announced it has joined the professional Premier Volleyball League (PVL), following the exodus of other PSL teams to the PVL. On July 9, 2021, the team announced that it will not participate in the 2021 PVL Open Conference, Open Conference citing injuries and lack of training due to difficulties maintaining their training bubble. The Generika Ayala Lifesavers are a professional women's volleyball team owned by Actimed, Inc. (Generika Drugstore) in partnership with Ayala Corporation. History Generika Drugstore first became involved in the Philippine Superliga (PSL) when it sponsored the Philippine Army Lady Troopers during the 2014 All-Filipino Conference, playing as the "Generika-Army Lady Troopers". For the following conference, the company formed its own team composed of the coaching staff and most of the players from the disbanded AirAsia Flying Spikers. Katarina Vukomanović ( sr-cyrl, Катарина Вукомановић; born 26 October 1990) is a Serbian professional volleyball player who plays the libero position. She was part of the Serbian junior national team that won the gold medal at the 2007 Balkan Championship. Her current club is CSM Târgoviște. María José Pérez González (born 18 March 1988 in Aragua) is a female volleyball player from Venezuela who competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Her team finished in 11th place. The United VC was a professional women's volleyball team in the Philippine Superliga (PSL). Established in 2017, the club debuted under the sponsorship of United Coconut Planters Life Assurance Corporation (COCOLIFE) and played as the COCOLIFE Asset Managers from the 2017 to 2018 seasons.
