2018 Orienteering World Cup
The 2018 Orienteering World Cup was the 24th edition of the Orienteering World Cup. The 2018 Orienteering World Cup consisted of 11 individual events and 9 relay events. The events were located in Switzerland, Latvia, Norway and Czech Republic. The European Orienteering Championships in Ticino, Switzerland and the 2018 World Orienteering Championships in Riga, Latvia were included in the World Cup. Matthias Kyburz of Switzerland won his third consecutive overall title in the men's World Cup, his fifth title in total. Matthias Kyburz
Matthias Kyburz (born 5 March 1990) is a Swiss orienteering competitor, junior world champion, European champion and multiple world champion. On 16 April 2020, Kyburz attained the world record in quickest time reaching 50km on a treadmill, in a time of 2:56:35, breaking the record held by Florian Neuschwander. Career He won the sprint distance at the 2012 World Orienteering Championships in Lausanne, ahead of Matthias Merz and Matthias Müller, his first international victory. Kyburz has since been an important competitor on the world stage, an all round orienteer with the ability to win any of the three individual orienteering disciplines. Riga

Gustav Bergman (born 4 December 1990) is a Swedish orienteering competitor. He won a bronze medal in the middle distance at the 2013 World Orienteering Championships. He was born in Stockholm, represents OK Ravinen, and is married to Helena Jansson. At the 2016 World Orienteering Championships in Strömstad he won a bronze medal in relay with the Swedish team, along with Fredrik Bakkman and William Lind, as well as a bronze medal in the mixed sprint relay. Østfold
Østfold is a traditional region, a former county and a current electoral district in southeastern Norway. Eskil Kinneberg (born 17 May 1992) is a Norwegian orienteer. Tim Robertson (born 5 August 1995) is a New Zealand orienteering competitor. He won the gold medal in the sprint course at the Junior World Orienteering Championships in 2014, and 2015. Robertson was born in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. He has competed at the New Zealand Orienteering Championships, receiving many silver, gold, and bronze medals.
