The 2018 OEC Taipei WTA Challenger was a professional tennis tournament played on indoor carpet courts. It was the 11th edition of the tournament and part of the 2018 WTA 125K series, offering a total of $125,000 in prize money. It took place in Taipei, Taiwan, on 12–18 November 2018. Joanna Garland (born 16 July 2001) is a professional tennis player who represents Chinese Taipei. She has won seven singles and three doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Early life Garland is half-British and half-Taiwanese. Born in Stevenage, she moved with her family to Taiwan when she was ten years old.
