2018 Louisiana–Monroe Warhawks Baseball Team
The 2018 Louisiana–Monroe Warhawks baseball team represents the University of Louisiana at Monroe in the 2018 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Warhawks play their home games at Warhawk Field. They are under the direction of first year head coach Michael Federico. Schedule and results Louisiana–Monroe announced its 2018 baseball schedule on November 15, 2017. The 2017 schedule consists of 27 home games in the regular season. The Warhawks will play 23 games against opponents who have won more than 30 games last season, including NCAA tournament participants, South Alabama and Arkansas. The 2018 Sun Belt Conference Championship will be contested May 22–27 in Lafayette, Louisiana, and will be hosted by Louisiana–Lafayette. * Rankings are based on the team's current ranking in the Collegiate Baseball poll. Michael Federico
Michael Federico is an American baseball coach, currently serving as the head baseball coach at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Federico attended college at the University of Southern Mississippi and played on the Southern Miss Golden Eagles baseball team. Federico served as an assistant baseball coach at the University of Memphis from 2005 to 2009, and at the University of Southern Mississippi from 2010 to 2017. Federico was named head baseball coach at the University of Louisiana at Monroe on June 27, 2017. Eddie Stanky Field
Eddie Stanky Field is a baseball park in Mobile, Alabama. During the 1990s, it was the home of the Mobile BaySharks. It is currently home to the South Alabama Jaguars baseball team and was home to the 2007 Sun Belt Conference baseball tournament. The ballpark has a capacity of 4,500 people. In 2013, the Jaguars ranked 41st among Division I baseball programs in attendance, averaging 1,537 per home game. Springs Brooks Stadium/Vrooman Field is a baseball park in the southeastern United States, located on the campus of Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. It is the home field of the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers of the Sun Belt Conference.
