2018 Korea Masters
The 2018 Korea Masters (officially known as Victor Korea Masters 2018 for sponsorship reasons) was a badminton tournament which took place at Gwangju Women's University Stadium in South Korea from 27 November to 2 December 2018 and had a total prize of $250,000 (₩282,744,600). Tournament The 2018 Korea Masters was the twenty-sixth and last tournament of the 2018 BWF World Tour before the 2018 BWF World Tour Finals. However, this tournament was not calculated in the rankings used as qualification for the World Tour Finals. It was part of the Korea Masters, which had been held since 2007. BWF World Ranking
The BWF World Ranking is the official ranking of the Badminton World Federation for badminton players who participate in tournaments sanctioned by Badminton World Federation. It is used to determine the qualification for the World Championships and Summer Olympic Games, as well as BWF World Tour tournaments. Seedings of draws at all BWF-sanctioned tournaments are conducted using the BWF World Ranking. Players under 19 years of age are eligible to rank in the BWF World Junior Ranking, which were introduced in January 2011. Panji Ahmad Maulana (born 21 July 1997) is an Indonesian badminton player. He is affiliated with Candra Wijaya club. Maulana was part of Indonesia team that won a silver medal at the 2015 World Junior Championships and a gold medal at the 2017 SEA Games. Lee Zii Jia (, born 29 March 1998) is a Malaysian badminton player. He was the men's singles gold medalist at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games and won his first BWF Super 1000 title at the 2021 All England Open. Lee is the reigning men's singles Asian champion, winning the title at the 2022 Badminton Asia Championships.
