2018 Japan Golf Tour ...
The 2018 Japan Golf Tour season was played from 18 January to 2 December. The season consisted of 25 official money events, mostly in Japan, as well as the four majors. One event was played in Singapore, and one in Myanmar, both co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2018 season. Unofficial events The following events were sanctioned by the Japan Golf Tour, but did not carry official money, nor were wins official. Kodai Ichihara
is a Japanese professional golfer who plays on the Japan Golf Tour. Ichihara had his first win on the tour in June 2018, the Japan Golf Tour Championship Mori Building Cup Shishido Hills. Previously his best finish is T-2 at the 2016 Gateway to The Open Mizuno Open. He also has one win on the Japan Challenge Tour, the 2003 Kanitop Cup. Ichihara qualified for the 2012 Open Championship through International Final Qualifying, but missed the cut. His runner-up finish at the 2016 Mizuno Open qualified him for the 2016 Open Championship. He made the cut and finished tied for 79th. Rahil Gangjee (born 2 October 1978) is a professional golfer from India who currently plays on the Asian Tour, where he has two victories. Early life and amateur career Gangjee was born in Calcutta, but now resides in Bengaluru. He was educated at La Martiniere Calcutta. He had a decorated amateur career that included the 1997 Sri Lankan Amateur and the East India Amateur in 1997, 1998 and 2000. He would soon become India's number one amateur in 1999. He kept the title of being India's top ranked amateur by winning the Northern India Amateur in 2000. In the same year he won the Western India Amateur, by a margin of 19 strokes.
