2018 Grand Prix Of Helsinki
The 2018 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, Grand Prix of Helsinki was held in Helsinki, Finland, from November 2–4. It was the third event of the 2018–2019 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, 2018–19 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. Finland was chosen as the host after the Chinese Skating Association declined to host their annual Grand Prix event, the Cup of China. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of single skating, men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Skaters competed to earn points toward qualifying for the 2018–19 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, 2018–19 Grand Prix Final. Over 20,000 tickets were sold. ISU Grand Prix Of Figure Skating
The ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating (known as ISU Champions Series from 1995 to 1997) is a series of senior international figure skating competitions organized by the International Skating Union. The invitational series was inaugurated in 1995, incorporating several previously existing events. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of single skating, men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The junior-level equivalent is the ISU Junior Grand Prix. Viveca Lindfors (figure Skater)
Viveca Lindfors (born 30 January 1999) is a Finnish retired figure skater. She is the 2019 European bronze medalist, 2018 CS Finlandia Trophy bronze medalist, 2018 CS Tallinn Trophy bronze medalist, 2018 Nordic champion, and the 2019 Finnish national champion. Personal life Viveca Lindfors was born on 30 January 1999 in Helsinki, Finland. She is the second eldest of five children. Valtter Virtanen
Valtter Virtanen (born 4 June 1987) is a Finnish figure skater. He is a three-time Nordic medalist (gold in 2022, silver in 2016, bronze in 2014) and a six-time Finnish national champion (2013, 2015–2018, 2022). He has qualified for the free skate at three ISU Championships. Personal life Virtanen was born on 4 June 1987 in Kerava, Finland. After completing his studies in late 2015, he became a medical doctor at a hospital in Oberstdorf, Germany. He works part-time in the emergency room of the hospital of Peurunka in Finland. He married German figure skater Alina Mayer in July 2016. The couple has a daughter, born in January 2021. Career Virtanen began skating in 1992 at Keravan Luistinseura. Kim Ju Sik (born September 25, 1992) is a North Korean pair skater. With his skating partner, Ryom Tae-ok, he is the 2018 Four Continents bronze medalist, the 2017 Asian Winter Games bronze medalist, 2016 Cup of Tyrol bronze medalist, and 2016 Asian Open Trophy champion. Michal Březina (; born 30 March 1990) is a retired Czech figure skater. He is the 2013 European bronze medalist, 2011 Skate America champion, 2009 World Junior silver medalist and four-time Czech national champion. He also won the 2014-15 ISU Challenger Series.
