2018 FIFA World Cup Qualification – CONCACAF First Round
The first round of CONCACAF matches for 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification was played between 22 and 31 March 2015. Format A total of 14 teams (teams ranked 22–35 in the CONCACAF entrant list) played home-and-away over two legs. The seven winners advanced to the second round. Seeding The draw for the first round was held on 15 January 2015, 19:40 EST ( UTC−5), at the W Hotel at Miami Beach, Florida, United States. The seeding was based on the FIFA World Rankings of August 2014 (shown in parentheses). The 14 teams were seeded into two pots: *Pot 1 contained the teams ranked 1–7 (i.e., 22–28 in the CONCACAF entrant list). *Pot 2 contained the teams ranked 8–14 (i.e., 29–35 in the CONCACAF entrant list). Nahki Wells
Nahki Michael Wells (born 1 June 1990) is a Bermudian professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Bristol City and the Bermuda national team. Wells began his career in his native Bermuda, playing for Dandy Town Hornets and Bermuda Hogges. After moving to England, where he had a brief spell in non-league football with Eccleshill United, Wells subsequently played in the Football League for Carlisle United, Bradford City and Huddersfield Town. The Bahamas national football team is controlled by the Bahamas Football Association; it was founded in 1967 and joined FIFA in 1968. Bahamas has never qualified for the FIFA World Cup. They have been a part of CONCACAF since 1967. Devonshire Parish is one of the nine parishes of Bermuda. Originally named ''Cavendish Tribe'' and later Devonshire Tribe, for William Cavendish, 1st Earl of Devonshire (1552–1626). Bermuda National Stadium
Bermuda National Sports Centre is a multi-purpose sports complex in Devonshire Parish, Bermuda, just to the east of the capital, Hamilton.
