2018 England Women's Tri-Nation Series
The 2018 England women's Tri-Nation Series was a cricket tournament that took place in England in June and July 2018. It was a tri-nation series between England women, South Africa women and the New Zealand women cricket teams. The matches were played as Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) fixtures, with two matches were played each day. The top two teams progressed to the final on 1 July 2018. In the opening fixture of the series, New Zealand set a new record for the highest innings total in WT20Is, scoring 216 runs for the loss of one wicket against South Africa, in their 20 overs. Hours later on the same day, England broke the record, by scoring 250 runs for the loss of three wickets, also against South Africa. Sophie Ecclestone
Sophie Ecclestone (born 6 May 1999) is an English cricketer who plays for Lancashire, North West Thunder, Manchester Originals, Sydney Sixers and England. In December 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) named her the Emerging Player of the Year. Danielle Hazell (born 13 May 1988) is an English cricket coach and former player. She is currently the coach of English domestic team Northern Diamonds. As a player she was an off break bowler who batted right-handed. She represented England in all three formats of the game, playing three Test matches, 53 One Day Internationals and 85 Twenty20 Internationals. Natalie Ruth Sciver-Brunt (; ; born 20 August 1992) is an English cricketer. She was the first cricketer for England to take a hat-trick in a Women's Twenty20 International match.
