2018 Cork Junior A Hurling Championship
The 2018 Cork Junior Hurling Championship was the 121st staging of the Cork Junior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board in 1895. The championship draw took place in August 2018. The championship began on 15 September 2018 and ended on 27 October 2018. On 27 October 2018, Cloughduv won the championship after a 2-12 to 0-14 defeat of Russell Rovers in the final. This was their third title overall and their first title since 1970. Qualification The Cork Junior Hurling Championship features fourteen teams in the final tournament. Over 70 teams contested the seven divisional championships with the seven respective champions and runners-up automatically qualifying for the county series. The South East Cork Junior A Hurling Championship is an annual hurling competition organised by the Carrigdhoun Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1928 for junior hurling teams in the southeastern region of County Cork, Ireland. City Junior A Hurling Championship
The City Junior A Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the BCE Consulting Engineers City Junior A Hurling Championship) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Seandún Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1926 for junior-graded hurling teams in Cork, Ireland. Seandun GAA is a Gaelic football and hurling division in the city of Cork, Ireland. It is one of eight divisions of Cork County Board. It organizes competitions for the clubs within the division, at adult level. The winners of these competitions compete against other divisional champions to determine which club is the county champion. Muskerry GAA
Muskerry GAA is a Gaelic football and hurling division located in the middle region of County Cork, Ireland. It is one of eight divisions of Cork GAA County Board. The division includes clubs from areas to the west of Cork city stretching to the county bounds with Kerry. Its name is derived from the ancient Gaelic kingdom of Múscraige which, following the Norman conquest, now encompasses the baronies of Muskerry West and Muskerry East. Newmarket GAA is a Gaelic football and Hurling club in Newmarket, County Cork, Ireland which is part of the parish of Newmarket, Taur. Newmarkets football team competes in the Cork Senior A Football Championship and their hurling team competes in the Duhallow Junior A Hurling Championship. Dromtarriffe GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the north-west of County Cork, Ireland. The club is affiliated to the Duhallow division of Cork GAA. Their hurling team currently competes in the Duhallow Junior A Hurling Championship and their football team currently competes in the Cork Intermediate A Football Championship.
